Experience
Mr. Iwata joined OpenTech as a consultant specialized in open systems and MIS systems in 1993. He has over 24 years of experience in software engineering R&D and MIS application development.
He has been working as a director since September 2001.
At OpenTech- Directed enterprise business systems projects.
- Managed and designed UNIX based embedded systems and application systems.
- Designed Java based UML model editor.
- Designed Java byte-code compiler.
- Consulted and developed client/server systems and year 2000 problem solutions on UNIX.
- Consulted and developed client/server systems, database systems(ORACLE and others), and systems software including TCP/IP stacks and a Java byte code compiler.
- Localized software packages for the Japanese environment on the Windows NT platform.
- Consulted office desktop computing and networking for a national R&D organization.
- Consulted and developed an ERP system for IPO of Software Research Associates, Inc.(SRA)
- Worked as an MIS manager and chief system engineer of R&D at SRA.
- Developed and consulted financial programs including management system programs, reviewing accounting software, and purchase/sale/inventory management programs.
