Mr. Kakinohana joined OpenTech as a consultant specialized in Java applications in 2001.
At OpenTech- Developed a Java based GUI builder.
- Developed a WWW-based large scale database system with JSP/servlet by more than 1000 Japanese universities and colleges.

- Did research work at University of the Ryukyus graduate school (Okinawa, Japan). Obtained an M.Eng in information engineering. His master's study was focused on development and implementation of a computer system that can generate abbreviated maps from precise spatial data for GIS.
- Graduated from University of the Ryukyus(Okinawa, Japan) with a B.Eng in information engineering.
