Dr. Kurahone joined OpenTech in 1997 as a document manager responsible for quality of all the technical documents that bear Open Technologies' name on them. He has 20 years of experience in automatic machine translation system development.

  • Was the chief linguist of the Japanese-English/English-Japanese machine translation projects at Bravis International (Tokyo, Japan).
  • Served as the chief linguist of the Japanese-English machine translation project at Weidner Communications (Provo, Utah).
  • Was a lecturer at University of Texas at Austin.
  • Was a research assistant at University of Texas at Austin.
  • Was a research assistant at California State University at Long Beach.
