Experience

Mr. Mita co-founded Open Technologies and has been working as the president and CEO ever since, and has over 40 years of wide and deep experiences in Japanese computer software industry.

Mr. Mita has been running for several Non Profit Organization. He was one of founders and has been vice chairman of Open Source Software Association of Japan (OSSAJ) and has been board member of Municipality Software Co-operation Organization (MSCO)

Mr. Mita has been working for business organization, he had served as a director for UBA UNIX Business Association (currently called "NEXTQ"), Tokyo Japan. He also was the chairman for the association from 1997 to 2000.

Also he held board members positions for several companies including ASTEC Inc.(currentry a part of Rworks Inc.), at which he was a board member from 1994 to 2000.

Prior to founding Open Technologies, he worked as the executive vice president of AT&T Software Japan, Ltd. This company was created as a joint venture by AT&T, Industrial Bank of Japan and Software Research Associates. He co-founded SRA which is one of the oldest / biggest ISVs / UNIX systems houses in Japan. He served at executive positions and was responsible for managing departments such as marketing, system integration, new business development, and SRA subsidiaries.

He majored in mathematics at Tokyo University of Science.
