Experience
Dr. Sano joined OpenTech as a consultant specialized in Internet and software engineering in 1994. He has 26 years of experience in software engineering, research and development, system consultation, system and network administration, product planning and marketing in UNIX, micro-system, and application software. He also has over 16 years of experience on the Internet.
At OpenTech- Is chiefly responsible on open source businesses, software engineering and education, and not-for-profit activities.
- Worked as a manager of open source business projects.
- Worked as a co manager of open source based software engineering projects.
- Worked as a consultant of object oriented software design.
- Worked as a supporter of ploratory Software Project (the MITOU project) (http://www.ipa.go.jp/english/humandev/third.html) by Information-Technology Promotion Agency, JAPAN.
- Worked as a consultant of communication, networking and UNIX system management and administration.
- Consulted and built web-based systems, firewalls/VPNs, electric commerce systems, and next generation cellular phone system.
- Worked as an OpenTech's delegate of the following associations; Object Management Group, Japan Linux Association, and IIOSS consortium.
- Worked as a member of ISO/SC32 working group.
- Worked as a member of programming committee, Software Symposium 2003.
- Was a product manager and a chief system engineer for the following products

- Was a visiting researcher of Software Engineering Research Lab., Information and Computer Science Dept., University of Hawaii at Manoa (UH-Manoa) from SRA, and researched the following fields:
